A very good place to stop. They had a very friendly and helpful staff.
I live in Grand Rapids area but frequently pass Kings Orchard for work. I have purchased apples in the past and was happy with them and the staff I spoke with on that occasion. I stopped again the day before Thanksgiving and decided to buy an apple pie, a gallon of apple cider and a pumpkin donut. First of all the staff was once again very very friendly and willing to answer my questions and just chat with me. Easy to see they love their jobs. The apple pie was an absolute hit for Thanksgiving! The apple cider is amazing. The warm pumpkin donut was phenomenal! I was very disappointed though....... disappointed in myself for not buying more pies and warm pumpkin donuts!
Wanted some of their awesome cider, but they haven't started making it.
I love King's. It's a family run market - fresh fruit, cider and doughnuts, pies, veggies and herbs. There are 2 stores - one on M-88 between Eastport and Central Lake and the other on US-31 between ElkRapuds and Torch Lake Village. You can pick your own cherries and raspberries. I especially like the apricots and the Ginger Gold apples.
Warm friendly will ti get for you what your shopping for. Food last this a places I never miss take grandchildren every year.
